    Mine just died...
    Purchased late 2010, the usb ports and webcam never worked on kde/kubuntu, which speaker device it used seemed random or needed a reboot to work, and it once crashed needing a CMOS battery removal to work at all.
    A few months back, the screen hinges started coming apart. Now it is just dead, no response from the power button at all. Less than a years worth of use, and not even full use at that.
