AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D aparece no CPU-Z com 5,65GHz em boost e 170W de TDP

AMD is expected to launch two new processor models with 3D V-Cache at CES 2025, according to rumors. The Ryzen 9950X3D, with 16 cores, should be introduced as the new top-of-the-line option in the Ryzen 9000 series, arriving accompanied by the Ryzen 9900X3D, with 12 cores. And now we have a leak from CPU-Z, which supposedly offers details for AMD’s new high-end gaming CPU.

As shown in the image above, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D can reach a clock speed of almost 4GHz, with a boost of up to 5.65GHz, based on its multiplier. The diagnostic screen also shows a TDP of 170W, but it’s worth remembering that this should be an engineering sample. If there are no changes before launch, it will be the same power profile as the non-X3D model of the processor, the Ryzen 9 9950.

The processor’s L3 cache shows 96MB + 32MB, for a total of 108MB. This way of listing memory aligns with previous rumors that AMD’s new generation of X3D processors will maintain the 3D V-Cache design on just one of the CCDs, even for the high-end model.

Now all that remains is to know the price of the Ryzen 9 9950X3D

With the leak of details of the Ryzen 9 9950X3D, there wasn’t much information left for AMD to reveal about the processor, other than its price. The company is expected to disclose these details during its event at CES 2025, on January 6th.

It is likely that the reveal of the new processors will also be accompanied by performance tests, as they are CPUs especially aimed at games. With the Ryzen 7 9800X3D already winning the “king” crown in its review here on Adrenaline, it will be interesting to see how more advanced models still fare in comparison.
