The Acer Sweden website has a banner for a new AMD GPU that probably doesn’t exist, but it’s very interesting. The image promotes an Acer Nitro Radeon RX 9070 GRE XT, with 16gbps. Until the moment we wrote this post, the official page is still on the air, with the unexpected banner.
The Radeon RX 9070 XT has already been released and we have rumors of an RX 9070 GRE on its way, but an RX 9070 GRE XT model has not appeared yet and would be one first time for AMD. Most likely, the banner was just a mistake of Acer’s marketing team, which was confused with the nomenclature of the plates.

The banner appears on the page for the RX 9070 XT, so it is possible that GRE is “left” there in the image. And this is interesting, because it is possible that Acer is preparing an RX 9070 GRE variant too, so someone has been confused when making the banner in its division of Sweden.
Radeon RX 9070 GRE is practically confirmed
The supposed RX 9070 GRE has already appeared in various leaks and rumors, including very complete details of its specifications. The famous GPU-Z diagnostic software has even won an update bringing support to this GPU model.

However, we do not have the most important information for the new board yet: its price. Obviously the value is important for any product, but Gre variants of AMD video cards usually draw more attention precisely for their cost benefit.

The leakage of Acer is even more indicative that we should not be too far from an official revelation for the GRE RX 9070. Now is the expectation not only of how much it will cost, but also in which markets will be available.
