PlayStation confirms presence at Tokyo Game Show 2024

Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed the presence of PlayStation during the Tokyo Game Show 2024 – which will take place between September 26th and 29th in Japan.

It is important to mention that the corporation has been absent from major events in recent years, presenting its titles and consoles in its own broadcasts focused directly on the public. Having refused to participate in gamescom 2024, it was expected that they would follow this trend, but it seems that things will change again.

The PlayStation brand is one of the 700 that have already confirmed that they will be in Tokyo during the event. However, it has not been revealed what they will present inside their booth and whether we will see announcements or news in its extension.

It’s worth noting that, by this date, Astro Bot will have already been released on the PlayStation 5 – as will the PC version of God of War Ragnarök. It’s possible that they’ll take the opportunity to show more details about future titles like Marathon, Marvel’s Wolverine and even confirm or deny the rumors about the so-called “PlayStation 5 Pro”.

In any case, Sony Interactive Entertainment is expected to keep details about PlayStation’s presence at Tokyo Game Show 2024 under wraps until the event’s grand opening.
