Intel 200s Boost brings overclocking in the Warranty for Core Ultra 200K CPUS on Z890 plates

Earlier today Gigabyte “burned the start” and announced the Intel 200s Boost ahead of time on her Z890 series motherboards. Now Intel herself has made her official announcement, releasing technology to all her partnerships ready to offer an BIOS update on her signs.

Intel 200s Boost is a feature that offers simplified overclocking within the warranty for processors in the Intel Core Ultra 200s series. The tool is limited not only to Z890 plates, but also to unlocked Core Ultra 200k family processors, as expected. RAM memories compatible with XMP profile is also required to take advantage of the feature.

Using the tool, Intel expects 3.2GHz Clocks at Fabric and Die-To-Die Speeds from its CPUs. In addition, RAM can go from 6,400mt/SA to 8,000mt/s as long as it is compatible.

Tom’s hardware people had early access to 200s Boost and tested technology in some games. The site states that the feature brings an average improvement of 7% to 9% in the performance of games, which is not bad for a feature that only needs an update to be used.

Intel 200s Boost should work on all Z890 motherboards

Gigabyte eventually anticipated the compatibility of its 200s Boost signs, but Intel has revealed that the feature should work in all the Z890’s motherboards, regardless of the manufacturer. There may be some exceptions on specific models, but by default the technology should be compatible.
