A few months ago, Fortnite went from being just a Battle Royale game to becoming a platform with several different modes to have fun. Two of the games’ official modes are LEGO and Fortnite Festival, which features nostalgic Rock Band gameplay.
And for those who love to have fun with these modes in addition to the chaotic shooting, beating and bomb modes, Epic Games gave some very interesting news. New changes will see Premium Passes for LEGO and Festival modes advance with XP earned in other modes as well. Understand better.

XP expansion for all passes in Fortnite
Epic Games itself has already revealed what new features will be coming in the game’s next updates. One of them is unified XP, which will greatly facilitate progress in battle passes in modes other than battle royale.
So far, when the player purchases a LEGO or Festival pass, they must exclusively play those respective modes to advance the pass and redeem the rewards. In the case of LEGOS you need to earn the “pins” by playing this mode, and in the case of the Festival you need to earn the “festival points”.
But, from November 2nd this will start to change, and players will be able to use XP earned in any other mode to progress in these passes too, as is already the case with the battle royale mode’s battle pass.
It will all start with Festival mode. On November 2nd, the XP system will replace “festival points” in the Music Pass (formerly Festival Pass). From that date onwards, the Music Pass will no longer include festival points and will integrate XP as the new progress metric.
After that, on December 1st, the news will also arrive for LEGO in the “Preaching Pieces” pass, where the pins will be replaced by common XP. That same day, the “battle stars” from Fortnite’s main pass will also be eliminated.
These changes promise to make the progression system simpler and more accessible for all players, preventing them from having to switch between different scoring systems and allowing the focus to stay on the game itself.
The future of Battle Passes and purchase options
Other important changes to the passing system are also on the way. The new Music and Lego Passes, launching after December 1st, will follow a similar rewards system to the main Battle Pass.
This way, each pass will have a trail with free and premium rewards exclusive to those who purchase them, instead of two separate trails, as is currently the case. With the change, even those who don’t play these modes as much will also be able to redeem these free rewards if they are interested in them in the future.
Additionally, Epic also announced another interesting change. Players will now be able to directly purchase specific rewards (up to the limit allowed). In other words, it will be possible to guarantee a desired reward without having to rush to advance through the levels until you reach it.
And soon, Epic Games will also launch an option that will allow players to purchase all passes at once. This alternative is designed to make access to the different game modes even easier and allow a more integrated experience for fans.
New season has a return to Chapter 2 and nostalgia
These changes to the battle pass system were announced now, on the eve of the end of the current season, which was inspired by Marvel characters and will end this weekend.
Epic has already confirmed a new live event and indicated that the next season, called “Remix”, will take players back to the island from Chapter 2. This nostalgic return promises to rekindle memories for longtime fans and provide a journey through the history of the game. game.
