AMD has just launched Rocm 6.4, the latest version of its open -performance GPUS computing platform.
The update arrives shortly before the long -awaited Advance AI event, scheduled for June, where the company should reveal more concrete plans for the future of Rocm and its integration with new graphic architectures.
RDNA4 Out of the Official Support List
Despite the expectations of the public and the rumors that circulate among developers, AMD has chosen to keep the new generation of architecture out of official support RDNA4 (GFX12)including the line Radeon RX 9000.
Users report non -official operation with these GPUS, but the company has not yet positioned itself when (or if) this support will be formalized.

The absence of RDNA4 in the official support matrix raises questions about AMD’s strategic plans for its latest line of GPUS aimed at AI

What to wait next?
