Brazilian modder Paulo Gomes’ team decided to work on the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super GPU, upgrading its memory in competition against the TecLab national team channel. To bring the best performance, the two increased the graphics card speed to its highest recorded point: 26 Gbps.

While Paulo Gomes decided to continue with a Manli model, TecLab modified a Galax model. The original video card has 21 Gbps Micron dies (161-0479-900) and the change was made to 24 Gbps dies (161-0480-900).

It is important to note that neither TecLab nor Paulo Gomes brought sophisticated cooling solutions for the modified NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super GPU – dealing only with the hardware’s own method, with three fans and a 2.5 and 3.0 slot design.

Another detail worth mentioning is that, even reaching the thermal limit due to overclocking, the two GPUs worked exceptionally well and show that the fans have a preparation that keeps the cards operating beyond their specifications.

Regarding modifying the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super and any other, it is also important to remember that it is not something that can be replicated without advanced soldering experience, without the necessary tools and information about the PCB and BIOS. Both professionals have everything they need to make it work as expected.

Teclab, which used the Galax GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super, achieved a GPU clock of +271 MHz and a memory clock of +2850 MHz – reaching a score of 9133 points in the same benchmark mentioned above. It is a result 2% higher than that achieved by Paulo Gomes’ team, bringing victory in this competition between the two overclockers.

Check out a comparison of the complete scores below:

  • GALAX GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER (OC 26 Gbps da TecLab) – 9133 points;
  • Manli GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER (OC 24 Gbps by Paulo Gomes) – 8870 points;
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER (Stock) – 8736 points;
  • NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080 (Stock) – 8525 points;
  • GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER (Stock) – 7212 points;
  • GALAX GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER (Stock) – 7028 points

As shown, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super GPU with 26 Gbps achieved 20% to 30% higher performance than the original model – just by adding faster memory and increasing the clock speed.

GeForce RTX 50 “Blackwell” graphics cards can arrive with GDDR7 memories and 28 Gbps standard – which further increases expectations for its architecture and the results it will present at launch. The GeForce RTX 5080 and GeForce RTX 5090 are expected to be launched in 2024.
