Galax launched RTX 5070 “Fire”, A 250W GPU based on the RTX 5070 and, per hour, available only in China. Despite the name, the plate is not likely to catch fire and the power cables should not melt, if it happened with some Nvidia models.
Galax International does not seem to have this model listed, or anything that looks like this board. By the way, the rear design looks like a camping stove, but the choice of name may not have been the company’s happiest idea after power cables melt with some 50 series plates.
The plate still has a 16 -pin connectorbut only supports 8 double pins energy adapters, because There is no need to feed more than 300W for this GPU. The model is neither overclocking nor the Galax mentions any additional TDP limit available.

The RTX 5070 “Fire” is clearly designed to be a budget plate. It has a design of three fans and comes without RGB. The plate measures 31.4 cm with the I/O support and appears to be a relatively light design, as no VGA support is added with the plate.
The design is already known from other series called “General”, presented in the RTX 5090 series, for example. So far, the company has not given a reason to change the name, but it may not have been a good idea.
The launch of the model follows the launch of RTX 5070 by Nvidia, which is launching the plate today. However, there is a concern with the availability of plates, as the rapid exhaustion of RTX 5080 and 5090.
