The next generation of Qualcomm processors for ARM -based Windows PCs and Windows notebooks can have up to 22% more performance than current components. Snapdragon X2, as it is currently known in leaks, would have clock performance nuclei from 4.4GHz.
Every rumor should be observed with a healthy dose of skepticism, and in this case it is a little even more difficult to check. Digital Focused, a Hardware “Leak” from China, is the one who released the unofficial information about the Snapdragon X2. Your post was replicated by @jukalosreve, another leak expert, but has a good history of hits.

Digital Focused says the new generation performance improvement is between 18% and 22%. These are interesting numbers, but it may not be expressive enough if Qualcomm intends to launch the Snapdragon X2 only in 2026. So far the company talks very little about its next generation of Socs for Windows.
Remember that Snapdragon X has models with clocks from 3GHz to 3.8GHz, with Boost up to 4GHZ or 4.3GHz. Thus, if the new generation begins even at 4.4GHz it will be a very expressive frequency gain, which may be indicative of considerable improvements in nuclei efficiency.

When will we know more about the Snapdragon X2?
We currently need to resort to rumors and leaks for any information about Snapdragon X2. Even the nomenclature was not mentioned by Qualcomm, but appeared in a product transport document.
More about snapdragon x:
There are even rumors that we will see a variant focused on desktop PCs in this generation, while Snapdragon X were made to equip only notebooks.
At the moment, we will expect something official about the new generation of processors during Build 2025, Microsoft event that takes place on May 19. The company must reveal new Copilot+ PC, and its partnership with Qualcomm has been highly emphasized in the segment.
