DeepCool launches new fans with fluid dynamic bearings

DeepCool has launched two new fans, the FT12 and FT14 models, measuring 120mm and 140mm, respectively. The manufacturer promises high-performance operation and minimal noise, thanks to the fluid dynamic bearing (FDB) used in the products.

“These fans are designed for high performance, durability and low operating noise, aimed at users with demanding cooling requirements,” the manufacturer said. To highlight their FDB design, the center of the FT12 and FT14 fans is transparent, revealing the bearing inside. There is even a white LED that lights up to better show the structure.

“Don’t just believe the marketing hype,” says DeepCool. “Each FT12 fan features a transparent window that showcases the high-quality engineering of the fan motor while also displaying the true fluid dynamic bearing.”

The manufacturer also highlights the rubberized corners of the new fans, which help reduce vibration and noise in less precise fits.

Price and availability of new DeepCool fans

The new fans are available in the US on DeepCool’s official website. The FT12 model costs $21.90, while the FT14 goes for $24.90. You can purchase the FT12 fans in 3-in-1 promotional packs, with a total value of $49.90. The prices are the same for both colors.
