ASUS has launched a new line of GeForce RTX 40 GPUs, called “Prime” and compatible with the standards established by the NVIDIA SFF program – being the first video cards to receive the manufacturer’s seal of approval within this initiative.

The GPUs will be the Prime GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER, Prime GeForce RTX 4070 and the Prime GeForce RTX 4060 Ti. According to the brand, all models will be 50mm wide and 269mm long – with a 2.5 slot design, making it a viable option for common PCs and also for compact systems.

Even though they are smaller than the others, ASUS managed to “tighten” its triple fan configuration and also kept the backplate ventilated, optimizing heat dissipation.

ASUS also confirmed that its GeForce RTX 40 “Prime” will also feature 0db technology – ensuring that, in heavier workloads, these video cards will not produce noise. This feature is extremely useful in activities involving studies and work, making GPUs much more suitable options for these purposes.

Even though the manufacturer has always stood out in its aesthetic area, the GeForce RTX 40 “Prime” will be much more discreet visually – featuring a black and white color pattern, as well as a subtle red RGB touch onboard, but nothing that really stands out. public attention in this regard.

Furthermore, they were not the only company productions related to the “SFF” market. They also recently announced the ASUS Prime AP201 case, which will be sold with a micro-ATX design and will have options such as a tempered glass side or a mesh panel.

The entry of the NVIDIA SFF program also ensures that ASUS, with its GeForce RTX 40 Prime, and all other manufacturers follow standards – ensuring that upcoming hardware is compatible with each other and that there is both growth and innovation alongside greater adoption of the public to the format.
