O Android 15 You can sync notifications across devices. This means that when you clear or open a notification on your phone, it will disappear on your tablet or other device immediately. For now, only Pixel phones have Android 15, but this feature is not yet active on them.
The discovery was made by journalist Mishaal Rahman, from Android Authorityknown for exploring Android code to find new features. The functionality was seen in the latest quarterly Android 15 beta update.

If you have a tablet and a phone (or more than one phone), you probably use the same apps on both. Take YouTube, for example. When you receive notifications for new videos, they appear on both your phone and tablet. Currently, you have to manually remove the notification on each device.
With the new feature in Android 15, when you interact with a notification on your phone, it will automatically be removed from your other devices. This saves you time and keeps you informed only about real news. According to Rahman, the option to sync notifications can be turned on or off in the Notifications menu in the device’s Settings.
Rahman mentions that it is unclear whether the feature will be made available to the entire Android ecosystem or if it will be restricted to Pixel devices. Considering that Google devices are not sold globally and have limited production, it would be of little benefit to limit the functionality to them only. This would leave many Android users, such as those at Samsung, Xiaomi and Oppo, without access to this new feature.
Android 15 is now available for Pixel 9 phones. Samsung is expected to soon launch One UI 7 in Brazil, its interface based on the new version of Android.
