Corsair also starts to ensure RTX 50 with correct rops on their full PCs

Following CyberPowerPC’s example, Corsair (Origin) now also ensures that their full RTX 50 PCs will come with the correct number of rops on their video cards. The company issued an official statement with its new commitment, where it also reveals that it sold only one system affected by the defect.

“While reports indicate that this problem affects only approximately 0.5% of the RTX 50 GPUs, we believe any potential performance variation is unacceptable,” Corsair says in his official statement.

The company then confesses that Rops verification was not part of its tests, but says it implemented a review of the systems sold after the problem was discovered. “Combining with the expected scope of the problem, we have only identified one consumer with an affected GPU and we are actively working with it to offer a replacement,” says Corsair.

Of course, the company took advantage of the statement to disclose that now includes the RTX 50 Rops count of its full PCs. Not only that, Corsair has released a list of steps that its systems pass so that it can be sold.

Corsair seeks to recover RTX 50 credibility

Although the defect in Rop count affects a small number of RTX 50 units, it appears in the middle of a launch with high prices and low stocks. The result is that the Blackwell generation certainly did not have the most exciting debut of recent years to Nvidia.

Corsair shows that it seeks to recover some of this credibility for its complete systems. The company now says that each of the components on PCs are individually tested, which includes RTX 50 and number of rops. Not only that, then the mounted PC undergoes benchmark tests, to see if it delivers results on the average expected.
