To vote, you need to access the Steam app or page in your browser and log in with your account. Once logged in, simply navigate to the Steam Awards section and click the “Nominate” button in each category.
It’s important to remember that only games released in 2024 are eligible to be nominated. You can even indicate games that you haven’t played, especially in the more artistic categories.
The 2024 Steam Awards have 11 categories in total, some of which are already well known to the public, such as “Game of the Year” and “Exceptional Plot”, and others more unusual, such as “Best game you play poorly” and “Made with love ”. The latter is dedicated to games that were released some time ago, but that continued to receive constant updates from producers.
A new feature this year is the inclusion of the “Most Innovative Gameplay” category, replacing the former “Best Game in Progress”. Additionally, you can skip categories if you don’t feel able to vote in all of them – you can choose to participate only in the categories that interest you most.
To make everything even more fun, Valve has prepared challenges that guarantee special badges for participants. Challenges such as nominating at least one game, playing a game you nominated or writing a review of one of your nominees earn experience points on Steam.
Don’t forget to participate and help choose the best games of the year! Voting runs until December 4th, so hurry up to make your choices and secure the exclusive badges that only voters can get.
