The Chinese LingLong announced a portable computer that has the shape of a 15cm wide foldable keyboard. Inside it, an AMD Ryzen 7 8840U APU (8 cores and 16 threads), equipped with the Adreno 780M GPU.
Called by the manufacturer as the best mobile device of the future, the mini-PC can be equipped with 16 GB or 32 GB of DDR5 memory, and in terms of storage, the customer has the option of a 512 GB or 1 TB SSD. The equipment also has a network card compatible with Wi-Fi 6, USB 3.0 Type-A, USB 4 Type-C and even USB 3.2 Type-C connectors.
The 16000 mAh battery should provide up to 10 hours of battery life in basic usage mode, up to 6 hours when watching videos and 4 hours when enjoying games. Along with the keyboard, there is a built-in trackpad, so the user does not have to rely on an external mouse.
The device does not have a screen, but it can easily connect to an external monitor or TV. The manufacturer also recommends using it with smart glasses. The device measures 15×10 cm and weighs 800 grams.
Price and availability
The keyboard-shaped PC will only be sold in China. The price for the version with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB SSD is the equivalent of R$ 2,253, in direct conversion. The version with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB SSD costs R$2,707, in direct conversion.
