Zotac intends to continue investing in the increasingly competitive notebook market and will present a new version of Zone at CES 2025. The information is official and comes from the company itself, which recently highlighted some of its products that we will see at the biggest technology fair in the world Brazil world.
Unfortunately, Zotac did not offer any details regarding the new version of its Zone portable. The company limited itself to saying that it will have “more powerful hardware”, which is what is expected from the new edition of any product.
“Following the successful launch of the Zotac Gaming Zone, Zotac Gaming’s first gaming laptop with an AMOLED display, premium controls and hardware, Zotac is back to offer the media an early peek at the potential next step for Zotac Gaming Zone with more powerful hardware”, declared the company.
The way the company made a point of highlighting that this is a very early look at the product seems to indicate that it is still a long way from its launch. The images in this post belong to the first edition of Zotac Zone.
In terms of hardware, we can speculate the return of the AMOLED screen, highlighted by the company itself in the release, and possibly a Ryzen Z2 processor, if Zotac stays with AMD in the new generation of Zone.

Although Zotac calls the launch of its first Zone “successful,” VideoCardz categorically states that the product was not very successful. Arriving months after its competitors and with a high price, the device actually didn’t seem very competitive for the market.
The Zone arrived in October this year, costing US$799. It was the same price as the ROG Ally X, for example, but with worse specifications. Its main difference was the AMOLED display.
