Zen 6 engineering samples have already begun to be distributed [RUMOR]

AMD is already sending the first engineering samples from its Zen 6 -based processors. The information is not official, but comes from Yuri Bubliy, also known as 1usmus – the Hydra diagnostic software developer. He also comments a little about what to expect from the new processors.

As shown in the post below, 1usmus comments that Zen 6 processors will be a “evolution” compared to the Zen 5 generation, not a “revolution.” What this means is that we should not see an advance in performance or very stark specifications, but a general increase in the product.

The developer also comments on information that has already circulated on the Zen 6 generation. He reiterates that it will be more CCD nuclei and says that instead of just one memory controller, it will be two, but offers no details about it. Memory channels will continue in two and other technologies introduced in the Ryzen 9000 remain the same, such as the Optimizer curve, for example.

What do we know about Zen 6 so far

Although AIDA64 has already introduced support for the next generation of AMD processors, leaks on Zen 6 are still somewhat scarce. WCCFTECH has gathered a list of rumors with what is expected for architecture.

The information of more CCD nuclei, reiterated by 1usmus, can result in models with up to 24 cores and 48 threads. A larger cache is expected too, up to 48MB per CCD. There is also talk of supporting higher speeds of DDR5 – which would be interesting since the Intel platform has obtained better results with Cudimm modules in the current generation.
