Yeston launches his Radeon RX 9070 GRE along with new variant of the RX 9070 XT

Yeston announced this week its first boards of the Radeon RX 9000 series with double energy connectors. At the same time, the company introduced the Radeon RX 9070 GRE and the RX 9070 XT, both in its Gaea series, facing the cost x benefit segment.

Both plates have basically identical design, offering two cooling fans and a black housing without flashy details. Yeston has opted for something discreet for models, leaving the RGB lights out, as it has been common in this generation of GPUS for more affordable models.

It is noteworthy that AIB has decided to launch the Radeon RX 9070 XT Gaea accompanied by Radeon RX 9070 GRE instead of the standard RX 9070. While the GRE model for the RDNA 4 series appeared in rumors, the possibility of AMD effectively putting this variant in place of RX 9070 not XT for the Chinese market was speculated.

The two plates use GPU NAVI 48 and maintain their default settings, with the RX 9070 XT offering 16GB of GDDR6 memory and GRE RX 9070 coming with 12GB GDDR6. Check out the table below the differences, in detail:

Availability of Radeon RX 9070 GRE and RX 9070 XT GAEA

Unfortunately Yeston has not yet lists its new boards of the Radeon 9000 series on its official website. Thus, we have no specific release date, no suggested price for models. However, as usual for manufacturer’s products, it does not expect very wide availability for these GPUs, especially the Radeon RX 9070 GRE, which is officially exclusive to China.
