A low -risk Bug of XPG Prime is cloning images of anime girls in the temporary Windows folders on its users’ PC. Apparently someone from XPG forgot to schedule the app to delete their temporary image files when closed, or to take advantage of what you already have in the temporary folder. Thus, it generates new copies every time it is opened.
The discovery was made by a Reddit user who accuses the XPG Prime of pacing his temporary Windows folder with 50gb images of anime girls. However, it seems to be an exaggeration, as this is the estimate of the size of the whole paste, not just the images generated by the app.
Tom’s hardware people have decided to take a test and found that the application actually generates repeated images whenever it is opened. These are engravings that can be used as wallpaper at the user interface, and almost all bring anime style girls because it is part of the XPG aesthetics.
In the site test they concluded that it is generated about 15MB of repeated images whenever the app is reopened. It would take years to reach 50GB, but it is not absurd to imagine the total over 10GB in normal use over a year. For users with low capacity drives can be a problem.
What is XPG Prime?
Of course, it is a low-risk bug, which only involves remembering to clean the temporary folder from time to time so as not to have capacity problems. Not using XPG Prime is also an option.
