Will the iPhone 15 become cheaper after the launch of the iPhone 16?

The price of iPhone 15 stabilized around R$ 4,7 mil and since March, we haven’t seen any significant promotions in online retail, according to Zoom. The last attractive offer was in February, when the price dropped to less than R$4,000. But when will the price of the iPhone 15 drop again?

How much will the iPhone 15 cost?

This reduction represented a drop of about 21%. If Apple follows the same logic, the prices of the iPhone 15 could be:

• From R$7,299 to around R$5,766 for the 128 GB option;
• From R$8,099 to around R$6,398 for the 256 GB option;
• From R$9,599 to around R$7,583 for the 512 GB option.

However, these are just rough estimates. We have no confirmation that Apple will make these price cuts or if it will follow the same pattern.

We also cannot guarantee that these reductions will be immediately reflected in retail prices, which are often lower than in the official store. For example, the iPhone 14 saw price drops of close to R$1,000 after the launch of the iPhone 15.

Prices will likely fall more gradually, before rising again when the model is no longer produced by Apple.

Therefore, it is worth keeping an eye on the offers in major stores, especially around Black Friday, a period of great promotions in November. The best time to buy the device, considering cost-benefit, will probably be between the end of this year and the beginning of 2025.
