Creating images via AI directly from WhatsApp

A new button called “Imagine” is being tested (this Meta is pretty creative, huh?). It has the symbol of Meta AI and appears when we tap the clip icon, near where we type messages.

This feature appeared in beta version 2.24.12.4 of WhatsApp for Android. It is still in early development and has not been released to users, not even beta testers. For now, Meta AI is only available in a few places and to a few people. It works within WhatsApp itself and in other Meta apps. One cool thing is that, in groups, we can quickly call the AI ​​by typing “@”, but this does not apply to private conversations. In individual conversations, you need to leave the conversation to use Meta AI in your own chat.

With the “Imagine” button they plan to add, everything will be easier. Without it, we would have to go to Meta AI, create the image and return to the chat to send it. But with the chat button, you could do everything without leaving the conversation.

Some AI tools on WhatsApp are now available in Brazil

Although Meta AI is not yet in Brazil, Brazilians already have other AI news on WhatsApp. One of them is a function that lets users make their own stickers with AI.

In place of the stickers, there is now a “Use AI” button. With a tap, we write what we want to appear in the image. WhatsApp creates four options for us to choose from. We can send and save the one we like or request another one, giving a different description.
