WhatsApp feature that transcribes audio is already being tested
Similar to Android and iOS dialer apps, WhatsApp allows you to mark contacts as favorites. This feature provides a filter on the chat and call screens to display only those contacts, making it easier to access them. It is worth noting that this feature is different from the option to pin chats, which keeps certain conversations always visible at the top of the initial list.
According to WhatsApp, there are three ways to add contacts to favorites:
- Already conversation screen: activate the “favorites” filter and choose the desired contacts or groups.
- Already call screen: Select “Add Favorite” and choose contacts or groups.
- To manage your favorites, go to Settings → Favorites → “Add to Favorites”. You can rearrange them whenever you need.
This way, it will be easier to find those contacts you frequently chat with without having to search through recent conversations or type the contact’s name in the search bar.
