CES 2026 will take place from January 6th to 9th in Las Vegas and, once again, is the leading global consumer hardware show. For those who don’t know, unlike events aimed at developers or professionals, such as COMPUTEX, GTC, GDC or Hot Chips, CES is about the products that hit store shelves.
The other events mentioned generally focus on infrastructure, servers and development roadmaps.
AMD and Intel have full presentations or launch events on the official schedule. NVIDIA and Qualcomm do not have CES-branded press conferences listed, but are confirmed as exhibitors and partner meetings.
That said, it goes without saying, but it is very likely that the next CES will revolve around Artificial Intelligence and Copilot+, but in this list the objective is to talk about what will also be presented.

Ryzen 9000X3D, 9000G and AI 400 Updates

Dr. Lisa Su will open CES 2026 with a presentation on Monday, January 5th at 6:30 pm. AMD will host an event in PT, at The Venetian’s Palazzo Ballroom, covering AMD’s AI strategy in cloud, enterprise, edge computing and consumer devices.
The red team will also hold its AMD Connect demo area in Titian Rooms 23022305 at The Venetian from January 6-9, showcasing AI PCs, gaming hardware, AI products for data centers and edge computing, and related software.
In addition to what is likely, there are things that many would like to see, but may not appear, such as a demonstration of Zen 6 and an update to RDNA 5.

- Ryzen 7 9850X3D (Very Likely): AMD itself revealed the Ryzen 7 9850X3D on its driver pages, confirming an update for the company’s best-selling gaming processor. The Ryzen 9 9950X3D2 with dual 3D V-Cache has appeared in rumors, but this configuration has not yet been confirmed.
- Ryzen 9000G Desktop APUs (Very Likely): A previous AGESA update indicated that AMD is preparing an update for Ryzen 9000G APUs, with Zen 5 and RDNA 3.5 processors for the AM5 socket. If these rumors are correct, AMD will reuse its Krackan and Strix Point chips for desktops.
- Ryzen AI 400 “Gorgon Point” for Laptops (Very Likely): The Ryzen AI 400 “Gorgon Point” will be an upgrade to the Strix Point for laptops, with up to 12 Zen 5 cores and a more powerful NPU.
Panther Lake for next-generation laptops

Even with Intel’s crisis situation (which now seems to be resolving), the company managed to maintain a good product portfolio. Unfortunately, Battlemage G31 (Arc B770) GPU updates should not be featured.
And look, an Arc GPU was chosen by the creator of Linux for his computer.
Official launch of the Core Ultra 3 series at CES: Intel’s CES page confirms the global launch of the Core Ultra 3 “Panther Lake” series during the event, which takes place in Las Vegas from January 5th to 9th. The focus of the event is PCs with artificial intelligence and new processors for customers.

- Workstation Xeon 6 (expectativa): This is an update to the HEDT platform, the spiritual successor to Intel’s Core X series, now aimed primarily at high-performance workstation systems such as AMD Threadripper.
- Updates for Nova Lake (expectation): Intel may present a new slide with the roadmap for customers, mentioning desktops with Nova Lake and future PCs with artificial intelligence, which will hit the market about a year after the launch of Panther Lake.
New green notebooks

As NVIDIA is a strategic partner of the CES Foundry Experience at the Fontainebleau hotel in the Azure Ballroom, It is already confirmed that it will bring demonstrations focused on AI for PCs with RTX, data center, robotics and automotive platforms.
However, to date, there are no NVIDIA presentations listed on the CES presentations page. Furthermore, There will likely be no news of the RTX 50 SUPER and NVIDIA N1 SoC update for consumers.
NVIDIA’s official CES page and promotional material direct its presence towards AI (not surprising). The company is expected to promote PCs with AI and RTX, as well as gaming notebooks updated with existing RTX 50 mobile GPUs.

NVIDIA will also likely promote new notebooks powered by AMD Ryzen 400 and Intel Core Ultra 300 processors.
And given the previous years of CES and the focus of the Foundry program, it is reasonable to expect demonstrations of NVIDIA Drive, robotic platforms and other embedded AI devices. This still impacts consumer technology in cars and smart devices, but this isn’t a GPU launch for desktops.
X2 Elite

Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon X2 Elite and X2 Elite Extreme as its next PC chips, with the first systems expected in the first half of 2026. Hardware unveiling is expected at CES in Las Vegas, spanning laptops, mini PCs and possibly all-in-one desktops.
It remains to be seen whether the presentation will feature gaming demonstrations with the X2 Elite, but this is not confirmed.
