A Cerabyte released last Monday (12) that received a strategic investment from Western Digital for acceleration of its ceramic data storage technologies.
This is a company that has the innovative ceramic data storage proposal, which seeks to revolutionize the segment with this new technology that, according to Cerabyte, can store data for up to 5,000 years.

According to the reports, Cerabyte technology is not only designed to endeavor indefinitely, but can also make way for data storage capabilities on a hitherto unimaginable scale, starting the Yottabite era, as Cerabyte claims that its next -generation active files combine multiple storage technologies that would allow this advance.
Cerabyte states that its ceramic storage is safe against heat and fire, moisture and water, UV light, radiation, corrosion and even explosions of electromagnetic pulse (EMP).

Sharma stated that his investment in Cerabyte aligns with the company’s priority to extend the reach of its products to long -term data storage cases.
Cerabyte’s co -founder and CEO, Christian Pflaum, said: “We are excited to work with Western Digital to define a technological partnership, boosting our ability to provide accessible permanent storage solutions on scale“.
Through new technology, Cerabyte expects to reduce storage costs to less than $ 1 per TB by 2030. An ambitious goal, given the current panorama of the storage market. At the moment, neither Cerabyte or Western Digital confirmed any deadline for the launch of some product resulting from this investment.
