Watercool has launched three new radiator options this week for those who need the ultimate in cooling. The new MO-RA IV line features products so large that they don’t even fit in a case, with the largest offering 9 200mm fans.

As readers may have guessed, these are not radiators for common home use. Watercool recommends their use in workstations that are left on all day, for high-performance overclocked gaming PCs and even for small servers.

The MO-RA IV line has three options: 200, 400 and 600. They feature, respectively, two, four and nine fans. All use copper tubes and aluminum layers in their internal heatsinks, with the only difference being the number of fans. Obviously, this results in very different sizes and weights, with the lightest weighing 6kg, the middle one reaching 8.7kg and the largest weighing a frightening almost 15.9kg.

The manufacturer emphasizes that the products offer active and passive control, which means that interested parties can also purchase a module for external control. This way, it is possible to determine the speed of the fans and pump directly through the installed system or through the external module.

To help with the visual aspect, each of the three models is available in black or white. Additionally, they can be placed directly on the floor (with feet included) or hung on the wall. Finally, Watercool has equipped its radiators with some subtle RGB LEDs as well.

Giant Watercool radiators are not new

Watercool’s MO-RA IV line is reminiscent of a launch from Alphacool a few years ago. The competitor announced in 2001 a large 9-fan radiator as the MO-RA IV 600. The competitor’s solution, however, was a bit smaller, because each fan was 120mm.

Although they don’t attract as much attention as new CPUs or GPUs resulting in higher FPS in games, cooling solutions have become increasingly varied in curious ways. While Noctua is working on a liquid cooling cooler without a pump, OnePlus has simply launched a huge cooler for cell phones. And this year, Alphacool announced an unusual radiator for RAM memory modules.
