W880 Plate Document Confirms Arrow Lake Refresh Compatible with LGA 1851

After many leaks about a possible new series of Arrow Lake Refresh processors for Intel, we now have something very close to a confirmation. A documentation image for an Intel W880 PCH card is circulating on the internet, where we can see mentioned support for Arrow Lake-S and Arrow Lake-S Refresh.

The image was shared by Momomo_US, known as correct leaks from the hardware world. In addition to the good credibility of the account behind the post, it is long awaited that the last generation of Intel will receive new components revised soon. In any case, all unofficial information should always be seen with a little skepticism.

What to expect from Arrow Lake Refresh?

Unfortunately the leakage does not bring unprecedented information about possible new Intel CPUs, but previous rumors already paint an interesting panorama of what we can expect for the products.

According to unofficial information, Intel should focus only on K and KS processors for its Arrow Lake Refresh line, which is emphasized by the leakage of now showing an 800 chipset sign. Thus, we will see a line with Intel Core 300 business name for workstations and high-end systems.

Refresh should not correct greater criticism against the Arrow Lake

The Core Ultra 200 processor series is not considered a success in Intel sales, and most processor criticism has to do with their game performance.

A correction is not expected in the Arrow Lake Refresh, however. Following the trend of companies – which is not yet embraced by buyers – Intel should focus on IA performance improvements in new processors, the leaks say.
