Video reveals automated line in China that converts RTX 5090 GPUS cards to IA servers

A video posted on the Chinese social network Bilibili has revealed in detail the assembly line of a company that modifies RTX 5090 units to resell as GPUs for AI. This happens the same week when we had an important report from Financial Times revealing that China is importing thousands of Nvidia professional signs for AI, despite US restrictions.

The modification process is what is expected in this case. The RTX 5090 are disassembled and have their PCB with GPU GB202 and incorporated memories removed. This set is placed on a new PCB, prepared for a new two slots with Blower -style cooler. It is the favorite design by Ia servers.

What draws the most attention in the video is actually the large stock of RTX 5090 units that appears, and how the process is automated. It’s like the operation of any large legitimate company, completely ignoring that these video signs should not even be in China, according to US rules.

Nvidia prepares Nova RTX 5090D for China, but RTX 5090 seems to prosper in the country

It is worth remembering that, due to the commercial sanctions of its country, Nvidia has never officially had plans to send RTX 5090 to China. To sell its High-End domestic GPUs in the country and meet US rules, the company prepared the RTX 5090D.

Even this model has been restricted later, which is why the company now prepares RTX 5090D V2, which was known as RTX 5090DD. This model should be launched in August.
