V-Color Launches Innovative High-Speed ​​DDR5 Memory with 9200 MT/s

V-Color has announced the launch of its first DDR5 memory – the CUDIMM – which can reach speeds of 6,400 MT/s and over 9,200 MT/s when overclocked.

In case you don’t know what CUDIMM is, it stands for “Clock Unbuffered Dual Inline Memory Module” and the technology dynamically adjusts the clock frequency and consumption based on the load and system conditions. The main highlights are faster data transmission, energy savings and improved stability.

According to V-Color, the RGB DDR5 O CUDIMM module will be sold in 32GB (2x16GB) and 48GB (2x24GB) versions and is aimed at gamers, content creators and professionals who demand high performance. In addition, the manufacturer also points out that there is integration with Intel XMP profiles – simplifying the memory overclocking process.

For cooling, a custom solution was developed for this model. It uses a spacing of the memory chips to increase performance and efficiency, in addition to using 3M’s double-sided thermal conductivity of 0.9 W/mK – with tests showing that it maintained a temperature of 86ºC.

V-Color’s RGB DDR5 O CUDIMM heatsinks feature two 0.8mm thick cuboids – directly integrated into the die. This allows for greater adhesion of the memory chips and aids in dissipation. Instead of traditional double-sided tapes, a patch with a thermal conductivity of 2.5 W/mK is used.

The design chosen for V-Color’s RGB DDR5 CUDIMM memories will be the award-winning “XFinity” – which will be sold in black and can feature a gold or silver RGB bar, depending on the model selected.

It is important to note that V-Color will offer the 9200 MT/s solution as a “premium” format and, although it did not mention the suggested price, it is good to prepare your wallet for the model. The product’s availability date was also not revealed, but considering that it is a new release, it should soon be available in partner stores.
