Clearesult, a company specializing in energy transition and sustainability, announced the 80 Plus Ruby certification. The new seal ensures that power supplies reach up to 96.5% of energy efficiency in typical loads.

On classifications
PSUs have different energy efficiency classifications. This efficiency is identified by the seal, in this case, 80 plus. From 80 Plus Standard to 80 Plus Titanium, manufacturers offer solutions to consumers and companies aiming at greater energy efficiency.
So far, 80 Plus Titanium has represented the highest level of efficiency, but has been exceeded by the new 80 Plus Ruby certification. With this, there are currently 7 80 Plus certification levels:
