Ultra Capacity: G.Skill demonstrates system with 512GB of RAM running at 6,600mt/s

The G.Skill booth on Computex 2025 is full of computers mounted with its RAM modules in different settings. The company demonstrates high performance focusing on various areas, whether gross speed, low latency or high capacity – such as a PC with impressive 512GB.

According to information from Tom’s hardware, the company was able to gather eight 64GB modules for a total of 512GB mounted on an Asus Pro WS WRX90E-SAGE SE, equipped with a Ryzen ThreadRipper Pro 7985wx processor.

Gathering so much memory by itself is not a great achievement. G.Skill’s differential to draw attention here is the overclocking achieved by memory in this configuration. Its RDIMM modules were able to deliver 6,600mt/s, with latency CL42.

This is an extremely advanced configuration for workstations. Therefore, G.Skill also demonstrated systems closer to home use, with high capacity and overclocking memory. The company has reached DDR5-7000 with Cl38 in a 256GB build of RAM, in an ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero with Ryzen 7 9800x3D. The same number was reached on another plate, a MSI Meg X870e Godlike with a Ryzen 9 9900X.

G.Skill shows PC beating 10,000mt/s on Computex 2025

Going to lower capacity builds, G.Skill focused on high -speed and low latency demonstrations using Intel CPUS. Using a “only” 48GB (2 x 24GB) build, the company hit 10,933mt/s in its tests. The plate was a Rog Maximus Z890 Apex, with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K.

Tom’s hardware points out that the company had three low -latency builds to show. One of the 192GB PCs arrived in DDR5-6000 with only Cl26, while another with the same capacity hit DDR5-6400 Cl28. A third version with 32GB arrived at DDR5-8400 without CL34. The first two demonstrations were with a Ryzen 9 9900X, while the third was with an Ultra 9 285K Core.
