Spotify Wrapped: an annual summary
Every year in late November or early December, Spotify releases Spotify Wrapped, a personalized summary of your most listened to songs, artists, and genres throughout the year. It includes lists, graphs, curiosities and even the total time you dedicated to the application.
This year’s Wrapped Spotfify retrospective is now available, and if you still don’t know how to access it, just click here and check out our step-by-step tutorial.
This feature is a great way to remember the musical year, but unfortunately it’s only available for a limited time. If you missed it, you’ll have to wait until next year.
“Your Time Machine”: discover monthly favorites
If you want to continue seeing what your most listened to songs are on Spotify throughout the year, the best tool is called “Your Time Machine”. This functionality allows you to track the most listened to artists and songs in each month of the year, as well as some little extra facts about your activity on the app.
To access it is very simple:
- Open Spotify on your smartphone and tap your profile photo in the top left corner (if you don’t have a photo, a round, colorful icon will appear with the first letter of your name).
- Now just click on the “Your Time Machine” option and scroll down to see the activity month by month.
This way, you can keep track of your music preferences throughout the year without having to wait for Wrapped.
“No Repeat” playlist: what do you love to hear most
If your intention is to gather your favorite songs in the same place to always have them easily available, one option is to access the “No Repeat” playlist. This dynamic playlist is automatically generated by Spotify and brings together the songs you listen to most frequently, which is why it updates itself.
This way, the playlist is automatically updated, adding the tracks that you have been playing repeatedly recently.
How to access:
- Open Spotify and go to the Search tab
- In it, search for “No Repeat” (made for you) and that’s it.
With these tools, Spotify ensures that you are always in touch with your most listened to songs, whether in the short or long term.
