SanDisk launched the Extreme Fit, a 1 TB USB-C flash drive that is practically hidden on the side of the notebook. With an L-shape and dimensions similar to a wireless mouse dongle, the device was designed to be permanently connected.
You may even forget that it is there, as the proposal is to solve the lack of space in ultraportable notebooks, without giving up a discreet design.
According to the manufacturer, the 1 TB model is the smallest in the world in this capacity. Its vertical body prevents the notebook lid from hitting the drive when closing, but requires care during transport, as USB-C connectors are more fragile with a thin structure.
Performance and storage options

SanDisk is committed to the “plug and forget” concept. When attached, the Extreme Fit is just a few millimeters thick, keeping it flush with the laptop body.
The SanDisk Extreme Fit uses the USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface, with speeds of up to 400 MB/s (300 MB/s on the 64 GB model). It’s not the fastest on the market, but it works well for storing documents, photos and even 4K videos with good speed for file transfers.
In addition to the 1 TB model, the brand also has 64 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB variations. It is worth noting that, even though the Extreme Fit is the smallest 1 TB pendrive in the world, the Japanese company Suneast launched a physically more compact model in May, but with half the capacity (512 GB) and sold exclusively to Japan.
For professionals, however, the 1TB Extreme Fit may be the best model for those who depend on portability. In the USA, the product starts at US$15.99 (around R$84) for the 64 GB version, and reaches US$117.99 (R$622) for the 1 TB version.
To the TechnoblogSanDisk reported that, at the moment, there is no price or release date in Brazil.
