The list below was made by gamespot staff and has some caveats. Firstly, free games were obviously not included, as the idea is to count the number of units sold and not how much profit the game made.
However, they took into account the impact of game sales in hardware packages, as this ended up boosting some titles, such as Wii Sports and Super Mario Bros., which appear on the list.
