Thermaltake took advantage of CES 2025 to expand its Toughtram XG RGB DDR5 memory portfolio. The company now offers CUDIMM modules in 32GB (2x16GB) kits promising up to 7,200MT/s speed in overclocking profiles – for both Intel and AMD platforms.
Being CUDIMM DDR5 modules, the new Thermaltake kits include a CKD controller that helps maintain stable performance at higher clocks, delivering speeds that pass the 6,000MT/s mark, apparently with ease.
“Thermaltake is committed to redefining the limits of DRAM memory technology to meet the growing needs of gamers and professionals,” said Kenny Lin, CEO of the company.
“The Toughram XG RGB D5 with CKD technology exemplifies our dedication to delivering advanced solutions that offer superior speed, stability and customization; Whether for serious gamers, creators, or even AI development, this memory sets a new standard in high-performance computing.”
New Thermaltake modules arrive in two colors
In addition to performance, Thermaltake really highlights the look of its new memory kits. Even including RGB in the name, the famous colored lights are obviously an important part of the design of the Toughram XG RGB D5 modules. In addition to the light strip at the top, there is also another detail in the middle of the heatsink.
Underneath that heatsink, we have a 10-layer PCB, with the promise of premium materials used in its manufacturing. The modules are sold with heatsink in black or white, but Thermaltake has not yet announced the price of the new 32GB kits.
On the official website, the manufacturer promises timings of 36-46-46-96 for the latency of its new kits.
