The famous Chinese “leaker” Golden Pig Upgrade released a new video on the Weibo platform where he reveals unofficial information about the Ryzen AI Max 300 series of AMD processors. This should be the commercial name of the Strix Halo line of APUs, and its integrated GPUs could mark a new nomenclature: Radeon 8000S.
It is worth mentioning that the name Ryzen AI Max 300 itself was also revealed by the same “leaker”. Now, in a video that was later hidden, he brings together leaked information that he has previously commented on about the processors, along with revealing the possible names of his GPUs. The table below is a capture from the video:
Apparently, the most advanced Strix Halo will be accompanied by Radeon 8060S GPUs with 40 CUs. Meanwhile, the integrated GPU with 32 CUs should be called Radeon 8050S. Apparently, Golden Pig does not yet know the name of the integrated GPU for the entry-level model of the Ryzen AI Max 300 series.
This entry-level model actually appears for the first time in this leak. Previous lists about Strix Halo only talked about three SKUs. This is how the unofficial updated list of Ryzen AI Max 300 processors looks like:
- Ryzen AI Max+ 395 (16 núcleos + 32 threads) | Radeon 8060S (40 Compute Units)
- Ryzen AI Max 390 (12 núcleos + 24 threads) | Radeon 8060S (40 Compute Units)
- Ryzen AI Max 385 (8 núcleos + 16 threads) | Radeon 8050S (32 Compute Units)
- Ryzen AI Max 380 (6 núcleos + 12 threads) | Radeon ??? (16 Compute Units)
The Ryzen AI Max 380, which appears for the first time in this leak, draws attention not only because it is new, but mainly because of its configurations. In direct comparison between numbers, this SKU would be weaker than the Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 and 370, which offer more CPU cores (12) with the same iGPU CU count (16).

The people at VideoCardz, however, point out that the model can still offer better performance in games and graphics. This is because rumors about Strix Halo suggest that this series should have a more advanced energy profile, exceeding 50W in TDP.
