A Capcom continues to expand the universe of Street Fighter 6 with surprising additions to the cast of fighters. After the debut of Terry Bogard, an iconic character from the franchises Fatal Fury e The King of Fighters from SNK, in September this year, the next big name already has a date set: Mai Shiranui.
The legendary fighter, famous for her striking presence in Fatal Furywill be introduced as part of the Year 2 Character Pass and will arrive in the game in early 2025. To warm up fans, Capcom released a teaser trailer highlighting Mai in combat against ninjas, showing off her signature moves and maintaining the sensuality that made her one of the most recognized faces of SNK and the KOF franchise.
Year 2 DLCs promise to expand the roster of fighters
Mai Shiranui will be the third DLC character in the second year of updates Street Fighter 6. Before her, Terry Bogard had already caused great commotion with his inclusion, bringing a nostalgic touch to SNK fans.
Additionally, Capcom has already confirmed the fourth character for the Year 2 Character Pass: Elena, from Street Fighter III: New Generation. The fighter, with her combat style based on capoeira, is scheduled to launch in the spring of 2025 in the United States.
