Sparkle announced a new variant of the dedicated Intel Arc A310 GPU that has the TDP reduced from 75W to just 50W. This 33% reduction is enough to eliminate the need for a power supply cable, resulting in a very small video card, with just one fan for cooling.
Sparkle’s Arc A310 OMNI View is a product for professional use, not so much for gaming. Reducing TDP may impact performance, but it will help save energy and space in small systems that are on all day. This is the case of mini PCs that operate surveillance cameras or are only used for video streaming, for example.
That’s why Sparkle incorporated a total of four HDMI 2.0b ports into its small GPU, sacrificing the DisplayPort to have more space. The manufacturer says that its Arc A310 OMNI View can display video with resolution of up to 4K, at 60Hz. The board is also compatible with encode at hardware level for AV1.
While a lower clock GPU may not be the most attractive option for gaming, Sparkle is betting on its Arc A310 OMNI View, thanks to XeSS.
Super scaling technologies, in general, have been used to enhance the gaming capabilities of different input video cards, regardless of the resulting image quality. After all, the game’s visuals do not appear in the frames per second count.
Thus, Sparkle says that XeSS “boosts” its games, and includes gaming as a potential attraction for its latest version of the Intel Arc A310.

It is worth mentioning that Sparkle works with Intel on other GPU models as well, which may be more competent for those looking to play with the component. Recently, for example, we had the announcement of an Arc A750 and A770 in white by this AIB.
