The Snapdragon 8 Elite is Qualcomm’s new mobile SoC. The company announced the chipset this Monday, October 21st. With eight Oryon cores, the hardware positions itself as the most powerful mobile chip on the market, with the promise of 40% more performance and 35% greater Ray Tracing capacity in games.

The Qualcomm chipset achieved excellent results in benchmark tests, surpassing the Apple A18 Pro and Dimensity 9400. The device is expected to power cell phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S25, Realme GT 7 Pro and Xiaomi 15.

According to official information, the Snapdragon 8 Elite has 3 nm lithography, two 4.32 GHz cores and six smaller cores with a maximum frequency of 3.53 GHz. The CPU is equipped with 24 MB of L2 cache, divided into 12 MB for each segment of cores. Finally, the SoC has an Adreno 830 GPU, with frequencies of 1.1 GHz and support for the Unreal Engine graphics engine and also technologies such as Nanite from UE5.
