Silverstone reveals FLP02, Tower version of his retro beige cabinet

Silverstone drew attention last year with FLP01, a retro -style horizontal office that started as an April first joke and became a real product. Now the company bets once again in nostalgia, showing FLP02, new generation of its nostalgic case.

The FLP02 brings the beige tower shape that dominated the pcs of old. Like its predecessor, while the carcass brings a classic look on the outside, its interior is prepared for modern components. It holds 360mm aio coolers and even supports today’s robust GPUS not to force the PCIE slot.

Silverstone’s new office also hides its current front connections as it did on FLP01, but slightly differently. Instead of placing your USB-C port, two USB-A ports and P2 connection behind the lid of one of your bays, they are above them, behind a magnetically closing flap.

The change was made because FLP02’s 5.25 ”bays are functional. The space for disk drives and other types of the type is increasingly rare in modern offices, so it is interesting that Silverstone’s retro case has not sacrificed the resource that was so common in the past.

Silverstone says it was surprised by the immense demand of FLP01, so it intends to manufacture many FLP02 units and ensure its availability. The manufacturer intends to deliver the most end of the year, between the third or fourth quarter, and has already promised a price for the US.
