Silverstone launches liquid cooler aio for systems with 2 processors

Silverstone launched this week a new cooler that promises to account for two processors at the same time, using only one radiator. The XE360pdd is focused on servers and workstations that use two CPUS, incorporating the cooling of the two components into a liquid cooling unit.

Silverstone XE360PDD offers versions compatible with Intel and AMD systems. However, the user must choose at the time of purchase if they want an AMD SP5, AMD SP3, Intel LGA467 and 4710 or Intel LGA 4189 version. It is different from domestic coolers that often have a universal fit or an adapter to work in different sockets.

The radiator is 360mm, with 38mm thick. That is, it is a model with three Fans of 120mm. From it, two different pairs of tubes depart, each pair ending in an independent Block of CPU, which should offer flexibility in assembling the system.

Silverstone has not offered many details about CPUS blocks. The manufacturer only highlights the copper base, a common material for heat exchange systems.

Silverstone’s new cooler for two processors features double spheres rolling fans, promising speeds between 800 and 3,000rpm of turnover. Thus, the radiator delivers up to 95.1cfm of air flow, with estimated static pressure of 5.2mmh20.

Operating on these speeds, XE360PDD fans can make up to 39.6dba of noise, although the noise is not always one of the biggest worries in workstations. It has two equal pumps, which operate in 4,000rpm.
