SilverStone has revealed its first AIO cooler, the XE360-Dual. The device will come with two water blocks, allowing the user to use a single liquid cooling solution for two processors. The format is compatible with models from both AMD and Intel, making it versatile regardless of your hardware choice.

The XE360-Dual model is based on the AIO XE360-SP5 launched in October 2023, produced for EPYC CPUs and with optional kits to also be compatible with LGA-4189 and LGA-4677 sockets – allowing them to be used on Intel servers.

SilverStone maintained the water pump layout with the XE360-Dual, with it located in the radiator instead of the water block – reducing heat in the pump and extending its lifespan. In the new AIO cooler, it is possible to see two water blocks inserted along the circuit and without any pump connected to them.

To improve its operation with two water blocks, the manufacturer also changed its radiator – as it would not just be a CPU cooled by its system. The new one is 10mm larger, giving more surface area and mass and allowing them to retain the three 120mm fans seen in the “SP5” version.

This is not the first time that SilverStone has introduced an innovation, as in the consumer market it was also responsible for the IceMyst AIO – which allowed the user to stack VRM and RAM fans to cool other motherboard components.

SilverStone’s intention is to reach a very specific niche of workstations and servers, reaching those who build a station that requires two processors. It’s not such a popular option, but considering that they are the only ones who have produced an AIO cooler for this function, it may end up receiving greater prominence.

Furthermore, having an XE360-Dual would become increasingly relevant as chips become hotter and hotter – as we advance in generation. It would replace “tower” air coolers or the requirement to have two AIO coolers in the case.

It is important to note that SilverStone does not offer mounting kits for its XE360-Dual for consumers, with support for AM4/AM5 or LGA-1200/LGA-1700 sockets.
