Sharkoon launches ATX 3.1 Rebel P20 power supply with Cybenetics Gold and Platinum seals

Sharkoon presented its new series of ATX 3.1 power supplies this week, the Rebel P20. They are fully modular PSUs in white with different capacity configurations, bearing Cybenetics Gold and Platinum efficiency seals.

The lowest capacity sources in the new Sharkoon Rebel P20 line, starting at 750W, received the Cybenetics Gold seal. This means they have been certified with an overall efficiency of at least 87% at 115V and 89% at 230V.

Meanwhile, models with capacities of 1,000W and 1,200W managed to achieve the Cybenetics Platinum seal, which denotes efficiency exceeding 90%. It is noteworthy that Sharkoon chose not to validate its new PSUs with the old 80 Plus seals.

Rebel P20 components are compatible with AT 3.1 and come with the popular 12V-2×6 connector. Furthermore, all products in the line use a 120mm fan with Zero RPM mode, which turns off the fan when there is no great demand on the power supply. FDB fans have become common in more current PSUs, but the manufacturer makes no mention of its new line.

Price and availability of new Sharkoon fonts

The manufacturer has already launched its Rebel P20 White line in Europe, publishing its prices in Euros. Check it out:

• 850W model: €129.90 (R$798.40)
• 1,000W model: €159.90 (R$982.79)
• 1,200W model: €189.90 (R$1,167.18)

Sharkoon also highlights that its new sources are equipped with all current protection technologies for products of this type.

This is a brand known for offering products with a focus on cost-benefit and more competitive prices. For comparative criteria, Montech recently revealed a new series of PSUs in partnership with Seasonic, with the same capacity options and higher prices.
