Seagate demonstrates NVME HDDS working in a concept for concept proof

The NVME Protocol through the PCIE interface became popular in SSDs, which offer technology in both professional and domestic drives. However, Seagate is one of the first companies to show concrete advances in their work to bring NVME to traditional HDDs.

According to information from Tom’s hardware, it would still be relatively “cheap” for Seagate to produce NVME compatible HDDs than SSDs, offering competitive prices for their customers.
