PC users can now have screens on their GPUs, CPU cooler blocks, air coolers, and even motherboards. Zalman, however, found one more place where many wouldn’t expect to see a display: on the graphics card bracket, generally used to alleviate the stress of its weight on the PCIe connection.
Zalman’s new ZM-VS3 DS bracket was announced in black and white. In addition to having a small strip with customizable RGB, as required by law, the support includes a small articulated screen, which can be used close to the support or move at a 45º angle.

The bracket measures 288 x 15.5 x 105mm and can be adjusted to support two- or even three-slot GPUs. Since it offers both the screen and RGB lights, the ZM-VS3 DS requires two motherboard headers to function, a 3-pin ARGB (5V) and a 9-pin USB.
The promotional images for the new bracket show the screen with details of how the system works. Zalman does not say whether users will be able to choose GIFs, videos or other customized images for the display.

New Zalman support is now on sale
The ZM-VS3 DS is now available in Zalman’s home country of South Korea. The bracket was advertised in the country for 18,000 won, which is not excessively expensive. Converting to the current price, the accessory costs R$65.

The screen is very small, but it’s worth remembering that we’re still talking about a bracket with a useful function for your build. For those looking for larger displays to use mainly for visual impact, we have somewhat more expensive options already announced. Corsair offers the Xeneon Edge for $250, while Lian Li last year introduced an alternative for $85.
The feature seems to be becoming more popular, so it shouldn’t take long for more ways to fill your computer with displays, like the RGB craze once was.
