Sapphire now offers AM5-based motherboards. The company introduced two different B650 motherboard designs: the Nitro and the Pulse B650M, which comes in two versions, with and without Wi-Fi. Both models support all AM5 processors from the 7000, 8000 and 9000 series.
NITRO board
In line with Sapphire’s NITRO graphics series, it is a Mini-ITX board equipped with an 8-stage design and 80A delivery. While it resembles previous generations of NITRO graphics, it does not specifically match the current generation.
It costs 899 RMB, which is equivalent to approximately R$752.
PULSE B650M board
It has a 7+2+1 (60A) power stage design. This Micro-ATX board is slightly larger, accommodating a PCIe 4.0 x4 slot and offering dual DDR5 DIMM slots, enabling speeds of up to 7400 MT/s. Although it has more USB ports than the NITRO, the PULSE does not have a USB Type-C option on the I/O panel.
Sold by a single retailer for 2786 RMB, equivalent to R$2332.13 and is only available in China.
Drivers
The drivers for both cards were last updated in April this year, suggesting they have been in development for some time or simply flown under the radar. There is no indication of an 800 series card from Sapphire, and based on the staggered launches of the 500 and 600 series, such a launch is not expected anytime soon.
