Ryzen 9000g? AMD can launch new APUs for desktop AM5 at the end of the year

AMD prepares to launch a new series of Ryzen Apus for Desktop PCs in the fourth quarter of this year. This is what the famous HXL (@9550Pro) “Leak” says, stating that the models usually focused on notebooks arrive for Socket AM5 at the end of 2025.

Although the post does not offer details beyond this small information, it is possible to quite a thing based on AMD’s history of releases, starting with the business name of the line. The company has the habit of adding an “G” in the APU series already available when they move to the desktop, so we hope to see Ryzen 9000g processors.

Most likely, the new AMD APUs focused on Strix Point -based, using Zen 5 nuclei and RDNA 3.5 integrated graphics, which would already represent an evolution over the currently available Ryzen 8000g. These are products with Zen 4 and RDNA 3 charts.

AMD already prepares new Ryzen based on Gorgon Point

We don’t have information about Gorgon Point yet, so you can’t know if any of them can end up being taken to the new Ryzen 9000g series.
