RTX 5090D from Galax hits 3,650mHz and 36gbps and establishes new overclock records

As might be expected, we already have a new answer to Asus Rog Astral RTX 5090 beating the 3Dmark Port Royal test record. Now the RTX 5090D returns to the top of the list not only in this benchmark, but also in the clock record and the tests of Unigine SuperPosition and Gpupi.

For a long time RTX 5090D has dominated overclocking records due to the presence of two 16 -pin connectors in the Hof Edition version of the GPU by Galax. Using advanced overclocking and liquid cooling techniques, professionals can take advantage of 600W on each plate power connector for a total of 1,200W.

But it was not just in the processing clock that the plate was taken beyond this time. The new OGS record holders also managed to accelerate the memory of the RTX 5090D Hof Edition, bringing the 28gbps from the standard to 36gbps. It is an increase of 28.5% in the number, which takes the data band of 1.792TB/s to incredible 2.304TB/s.

New records for Galax RTX 5090D HOF XOC Edition

Arriving at business, these are the new numbers obtained by Team OGS with RTX 5090D. Until the moment we publish this post, they are still at the top of the HWBOT ranking:

The records were established with the RTX 5090D connected to an ASUS Rog Maximus Z790 Apex Encore, accompanied by an Intel Core i9-14900kf. It is interesting, then, that although the record in Port Royal was taken from an Asus RTX, the company can still boast the motherboard for new results at the top.

The competitive professional overclocking scenario should deliver us even more advanced results. It would be interesting to see what a 5090 RTX with two 16 -pin connectors would be able to deliver, but it seems that so far Galax’s RTX 5090D is the only option.
