RTX 5080 for notebooks shows 16% more performance than RTX 4080 in leakage

The RTX 50 notebook series is expected to make its debut in March, ie next month. With the launch of the approaching components, we now have the first leakage of a RTX 5080 mobile running on a graphic performance test – more precisely on 3Dmark team Spy.

As shown in the capture below, the RTX 5080 for notebooks managed to make 21,948 points in graphics in the test that appears in the leak. The number is 16% higher than the current average tests of the RTX 4080 mobile in Time Spy, which is 18,880 points.

Note that these are the numbers for the specific graphs score, not the overall score, where the RTX 5080 mobile would have made 18,924.

Videocardz points out, however, that the RTX 4080 for notebooks with the best scoring of graphics in the test reaches 22.105, getting a little in front of RTX 5080. It is not very fair to compare the best punctuation plate of the first generation with the first Leakage of a new model, but is indicative that the performance jump will not be the most expressive.

Leak does not inform RTX 5080 Mobile TGP

The power consumption of a video card has become increasingly important information, but it has always been the case in notebooks and portable devices. However, the leakage of the time unfortunately does not report what to expect from RTX 5080 for laptops.

The maximum expected value for the board is 150W, but it would be interesting to see this consumption over a performance test. Soon we will know this information, as the first notebooks with RTX 50 should appear in March.
