RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti will use 8 pins connection and 650W source [RUMOR]

Nvidia is preparing to launch the most affordable options of its RTX 50 series of video cards in March. The RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti arrive next month, using 8 -pin connectors for the power and charging a source of at least 650W. This is what the rumors indicate of the time, coming directly from China.

The information is not official and must be treated as such. However, they originate from the Borther Pan Talks Computers, which works closely with Zotac. As shown in the screen capture below, the channel says Nvidia did not want to use a 16 -pin connector for the RTX 5060 boards, opting for 8.

This does not mean, however, that the new plates will not require more energy than their previous versions. The recommendation of a 650W source represents an increase for RTX 5060, compared to RTX 4060 that called for a 550W PSU.

Currently, the value is speculated between 3,299 and 3,599 yuans (R $ 2,626 and R $ 2,864) for RTX 5060 Ti, while RTX 5060 would be between 2,599 and 3,399 yuans (R $ 2,068 and R $ 2,705). Remember that the IT version of these plates can arrive in options with 8GB and 16GB of memory, according to rumors from before.

RTX 5060 and 5060 Ti arrive with the Radeon 9000?

This is not the first time that the launch forecast for March this year appears, placing the arrival of the 5060 and 5060 Ti very close to the RAdeon RX 9070 and RX 9070 XT models, AMD.

Although Nvidia and AMD plates have different performance profiles, for distinct price ranges, the “red side” will probably not be happy to have the most affordable options of its rival debuting the same month as the Radeon RX 9070.
